LA SPAGHETTATA
La Spaghettata is a producer of fresh pasta in Amsterdam, founded by chef William Beninati. He undertook the ambitious project of offering different solutions for “Pasta” lovers. William organizes catering as well as corporate workshops, and thanks to his high-end and extremely tasty artisanal products, La Spaghettata has even conquered the menus of certain restaurants and hotels. Today William and his team therefore offer you the possibility of ordering at home, for your restaurant, or organizing private dinners or corporate Workshops.
I’ve been working together with William now for a couple of photoshoots, showcasing the delicate dishes he creates for private dining events and his art of craft for producing a quality product for the top-end restaurant world.

SOUL HOLDS
I’ve teamed up with ‘hold maker’ James Edwards, a sports enthusiast who has been rock climbing and bouldering for over 23 years, before he took it upon himself to launch his own brand: Soul Holds. His aim was to create aesthetic, but also more sustainable bouldering holds that really stand out at the gym. Over three afternoons, I’ve captured his hand crafted wooden holds while setting (creating a ‘boulder problem’ to climb), and during the open competition hosted at Be Boulder in Amsterdam.
James and I have become close friends and are already planning new collaborations in the near future. Stay tuned for a revolution in the bouldering holds industry.

VON EUSERSDORFF
I’ve known Camille Henfling Jr., founder and ‘nose’ of Von Eusersdorff, now over a decade and always been a big fan of his delicate perfumes. Photographing a transparent bottle that contains the variants of aromatic liquids in hints of gold, green and amber, took me to a clean way of styling using only natural light. Almost minimal, but not in a solemn way. With a lot of sunlight actually. Which made the images more bright and full of energy instead. I wanted them to be classic; the same way Camille discribes all of his fragrances, due to the simplicity of using only a handful of pure ingredients crafted into fragrant bouquets in a small factory in Grasse, France.

BAKED IN AMSTERDAM
Benny Blok, owner of Baked in Amsterdam, makes the best loaves and cakes in Amsterdam. Period. (and I am not that much of a sweet tooth)
He learned his pastry skills at a 5-star hotel in London and on a luxury cruise ship, before returning to Amsterdam as a pastry chef at Hotel de L'Europe and later head pastry chef at Vinkeles (Dylan Hotel) and Landgoed Duin en Kruidberg, both one Michelin star restaurants. These experiences inspired him for Baked in Amsterdam; making the very best artisanal fresh baked goods for hotels, coffee bars and retailers in the capital city.
Ben and I have known each other for a while, and working together on updating his website came very natural. The deal was simple and clear: Ben would arrange the goods, whilst I had full creative freedom around the styling. Rustic, crafty and damn tasty looking. No identical looking cookies or cakes to be found here. Only delicious ones.

LUPE
Pedro Mouneu and I met during the Covid period at Kitchen Republic when he was delivering restaurant-level food to people’s homes. Focussing on delicious authentic Mexican dishes, it was very clear he was making food that was close to his heart (and origin). It did not take long before the Latin community of Amsterdam discovered his flavours and demanded what he was already dreaming about; opening a restaurant. At Lupe you’ll find tasty dishes (perfect for sharing) made with love and dedication, as well as the most welcoming staff you’ll find in the city. And this reflects his daily customers too; the atmosphere is warm, celebratory and filled with laughter.
After one year of being open to the public, Pedro asked me to join him and his staff on a Saturday to capture the vibe of Lupe. I think the warm tones mixed with hints of blues work really well together, making editing easy with minimal changes.
